URA data released on 15 October 2026 put September 2026 developer sales of new private homes (excluding Executive Condominiums) at 296 units, according to EdgeProp. Another outlet, 99.co, covered the same figures. Three questions come up most often among visitors, and the answers below stay with the numbers the two outlets reported. Prices are left out of this note, which keeps to unit counts, shares and dates.
How Many New Homes Sold in September 2026, and Why Did Solano Grand EC Readers Ask?
Developers sold 296 units, which EdgeProp reported as 16.1% higher than a year earlier and 93.5% above August. According to 99.co, August sales stood at 153 units. EdgeProp tied the pick-up to the end of the Lunar Seventh Month on 10 September. Sales picked up once that period ended. Launch activity also widened: developers put 158 units on sale in September, up 36.2% from 116 in August and 7.9 times the 20 launched in September 2025.
99.co added that Q3 2026 developer sales totalled 1,180 units, the lowest quarterly total since Q3 2024, which stood at 1,160. In the first nine months of 2026, EdgeProp reported about 4,790 units launched (41.9% below 8,247 a year earlier) and about 5,334 sold (30.4% lower). One analyst linked the lower volumes to a limited new-launch pipeline, with several government land sites awarded earlier expected to reach the market only in 2027.
Where Were the Sales, and What Does It Mean for Solano Grand EC Followers?
- The Rest of Central Region led with 131 units, or 44.3% of sales, against 72 in August according to 99.co.
- The Outside Central Region recorded 125 units, or 42.2%, up from 57 in August.
- The Core Central Region accounted for about 13.5%, or 40 units.
- Landed homes numbered 19, the highest monthly landed volume since April 2018, EdgeProp reported.
- Of the 158 units launched, 99.co counted 70 at Amberwood at Holland, 65 landed homes at Luxus Hills and 23 strata-landed homes at Belgravia Ace.
Do Sales Continue After a Launch, and Is the EC Segment Included for Solano Grand EC?
Earlier launches kept selling. EdgeProp listed Terra Hill (32 units) and The Sen (25 units) as September's best sellers by volume, and 99.co reported Terra Hill about 92% sold by the end of September, its highest monthly total since its February 2023 launch. An analyst cited by EdgeProp said continued sales after the July launches suggest buyer interest extends beyond launch periods, while 99.co described underlying demand as resilient and buyers as increasingly discerning. Beyond Terra Hill and The Sen, EdgeProp also named Lentor Gardens Residences among the projects on the best-seller list, which suggests that September's total drew on several earlier launches as well as the new ones. These figures exclude Executive Condominiums, and 99.co noted that EC sales remained subdued amid limited supply.
Solano Grand EC is an Executive Condominium at Senja Close in Bukit Panjang, District 23, and the first EC site released in Bukit Panjang in close to fifteen years. City Developments Limited is the developer, with about 300 homes on a 99-year leasehold site of about 109,352 sq ft at a plot ratio of 3.0. The site was awarded in August 2025 under the Government Land Sales programme. Jelapang LRT is the nearest rail station, and the Bukit Panjang MRT/LRT interchange (DT1) is about 1.16 km away, as set out on the location page.
