Solano Grand Stamp Duty
Stamp duty is one of the upfront costs every buyer should budget for when purchasing Solano Grand. Two duties may apply: Buyer's Stamp Duty (BSD), payable by all buyers on the purchase price or market value, and Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD), which depends on your residency profile and how many residential properties you already own.
For most eligible first-time executive condominium buyers — Singapore Citizens purchasing their first home — ABSD is zero, which is part of what makes an EC like Solano Grand an accessible step up. The tables below set out the current standard rates.
| Purchase price / market value | BSD rate |
|---|---|
| First $180,000 | 1% |
| Next $180,000 | 2% |
| Next $640,000 | 3% |
| Next $500,000 | 4% |
| Next $1,500,000 | 5% |
| Amount exceeding $3,000,000 | 6% |

BSD is computed on a tiered basis across the price bands above, while ABSD (where it applies) is a flat percentage on the full price. Certain reliefs may apply — for example under applicable Free Trade Agreements — and rates do change, so always confirm your exact position with IRAS and your banker.
